Title: change the keyboard keys?

is there anyway that i can change the keyboard short cut keys to what i want them to be? the main reason is i have a remote control that i can not program, and media center doesnt recognize it, but the buttons i push do stuff in MC, but not the stuff the button says. so, yeah, can i?

Shortcuts are totally customizable, but it takes a little elbow-grease.
