Title: Handheld device undetected by MC 12

Hello,
Can anyone help me out! I use MC 12.0.185 and my mobile phone is not detected by MC. Also there is no plug-in available for handheld device from the JRMedia link.
Wat am i supposed to do to enable detection? How or where from can i download plug-ins for handheld device?

I will be greatful if someone can help me out

i would start with upgrading to version 380 from the top of this forum. a lot has changed since version 185

Hey Gab

I just upgraded to v380 bt the issue remains the same dude...
I have a P1i and when i cant use the best of both it puts me off.
Can anyone help me out???

The P1i is a SmartPhone running a Symbian OS. Currently, we have no way to communicate with it.

Doesn't recognize Zen Micro either,though it did one time. I tried connecting before opening MC, and after. Tried searching again.  THe computer recognizes it in Explorer, MC doesn't in the drop down list.

BTW how do I download MC11, the link on the main page doesn't work.

Try 'Redetect all devices' in Tools > Options > Handheld.

So u mean to say that MC will not recognise this fone is it?
Can you suggest me any other software that can recognise this smartfone b'cos i want to send my music files directly to my fone.

If you are actually sending the content to a memory card you may be able to remove the memory from the phone, stick it in a card reader and use MC to sync to it as a removable drive. You will have to manually set the file paths so the content is recognized by the device.
