I am having what appears to be a vista compatibility issue.

I imported my music files and then when I close media center and re-open it at a later time, all of the import data is gone and has to be reimported.

I never had this problem with the same program when run under XP.

I have unchecked the feature which would erase the recently imported playlist when media center closes, but the imported data still disappears.

I have also reinstalled the program, but to no avail.

What can I do to preserve the import data.

This is driving me nuts.

Do I have to buy version 12? How do I know it is compatible with vista?

Media Center 12 and Media Jukebox 12 nicely support Vista.
