Title: How do I Embed Cover Art in Tags
Post by: doubrown on December 07, 2007, 01:44:56 am
I recently purchased a Denon AVR-4308ci audio-visual receiver. It has built in wifi and can act as a UPnP client. It will display cover art if the cover art is embedded in the tags. However, cover art will display for a few of my files. I suspect that is because only some were downloaded with the cover art in the tags. I selected the Tools->Options->File Location->Cover Art->Also store image in file's tags, but that does not appear to do anything. Does this option only add the cover art to files tagged going forward? I'd like to go back and embed the cover art already associated with my files.

For the files already in your library before applying the change, you need to perform a:

Library Tools -> Update Tags (From Library)

This will embed the cover art in the tags of your "old" files. Try first with a few of them to make sure that the result is as expected.

Hope it helps.

Does this work with APE files as well?
