As long as the batteries hold out on your music player, and I am not sure if that will all fit in a Ipod.
We may need a solar powered Ipod

I would prefer this portable instead of iPod. It doesn't need electricity.

I have some 78 rpm records in storage. I may come back with my top 5 list after I have checked what is available. Unfortunately I don't have a 78 rpm turntable so I can't listen to the records before making the selection.

Here's a video tutorial for it:

Since box sets seem to be allowed, let me replace U2's The Unforgettable Fire with the Beatles Box Set - all their studio albums in a box, released back in '95.
Playing this thought experiment teaches me something about my musical values. A U2 album beats any single Beatles album but a Beatles box set beats a U2 box set, even if such a thing existed.
Now let me see if I can find that Elvis box set, the one that conatins every album released in his life time. That'll replace the Memphis Record...
