Hi,
I am in the process of sorting out an HTPC for our master bedroom. I will be using MC theater view on a 42" plasma for DVD playback and music playback. For DVD playback I would like to send the audio to the tv using a pair of analog coax cables, but for music I would like to send the audio to a Bose wave radio using a seperate pair of analog coax cables. The mobo has onboard six channel audio, so I am hoping to use one pair for DVD and one pair for music. I would not be averse to buying a soundcard if necessary, so any suggestions for one that will work well with vista would be helpful. Anyone know if this will be possible?
TIA
M

This is possible.
MC gives you full control over the output line for video, DVD, audio, TV, etc. You can also configure zones to target each line.
The only trick will be if your soundcard presents its outputs as discrete lines or one big line. Luckily Vista is pretty good about showing each of a soundcard's outputs as discrete lines. The worst case is that you'd have to drop in another soundcard.

Hi Matt,
Thanks very much for the info. I will only be using the one zone, so I am glad to hear I will be able to config dvd and music playback seperately. MC is awesome. Being able to do this will save me huge brain damage.
Thanks again,
M
