Title: Flac Encoding over network drive
Post by: sle118 on December 13, 2007, 11:47:56 am
Hello everyone.

I am experiencing a problem with the FLAC encoder when ripping CD's to a mapped network location. Ripping to the C: drive is fine.

Is there a way to generate logs to troubleshoot?

At MC's top toolbar click on HELP, then LOGGING

Select OUTPUT TO A LOG FILE and in the lower section check next to ENCODERS

I am not sure where to go from here. I was expecting an obvious error in the log, but I can't find anything that would help me fix the issue.

Any help looking at the log would be appreciated.

Thanks

The logs don't mean much to any of us mere mortals. You need to post the last 20 or 30 lines here and then the j.river dev team may be able to check it out for anything meaningful.

It would also help if you could perhaps expand a little on what "I'm experiencing a problem..." means?

Edit: Scrubbed. I see you've posted in the build thread.
