Title: unable to play dvd movies

I have version 12.386 on XP home computer.
After I try to play an inserted DVD movie I get an error. (Key exchange for DVD copy protection failed.
Can't playback this DVD-Video disc.) I tried other discs with same result.

I tried to revert to earlier version of Media Center but installer won't let me.
I installed version 388 with same problem.
Same DVDs work with Media Center 11 and other DVD programs.

Anyone else have this problem?
