Today was a sad day in a happy kind of way. I sold my airplane.
I went out to the corral this afternoon, just to say "adios, amigo".

I'm trying to be a man about it.
Maybe I'll take up golf (finally) or canasta or pinochle.
We watched "White Christmas" last night with Bing Crosby. General Waverly had a tough letter from the Pentagon and decided maybe he could learn to play horse shoes after all. I admire his courage.

My first international trip in a prop plane.
My first missed approach.
My first blind landing on a foggy morning.
My first ice-up at 25,000 feet.
My first view of the coastal mountains of Mexico.
Sincerely, thanks for the memories N71NB.
