Title: How do I add an arbitrary radio station to the favs or to "Playing Now"?
Post by: gbmsgb on December 19, 2007, 05:02:14 am
Hi,

I can use File->Open URL to play a local radio station, but although the station is playing in the Media Center, it does not appear in the "Playing Now" list or anywhere else.
Is it possible to add the station so it is availbale in the Theater Mode, perhaps under "Playing Now" or in a Playlist?

Thank you

When I try this the station appears in the playing now list. What version of MC are you using?

Build 396 is available at the top of this board.  Please try it.

I upgraded to build 398 - but no change. One point, though: when I use Open url for this station, it opens in a new tab in my Firefox 2 browser. Is this how it is supposed to work?

That's not a link to a stream.  It's a link to a page that has an embedded player.  It won't work as web media.

Is there an option then to bookmark these in some other way?
