Title: maximize mc12 to cover task bar??
Post by: ggboy on December 19, 2007, 02:45:16 pm
Hi People, I am just in process of trying version 12 to see if i want to purchase, so far its great. One question, yesterday when I Maximized media centre it expanded all the way so it covered my Start button and task bar at the bottom of my screen. I really liked the way it did this. But now I cant seem to get it to cover it when I maximize. was this just a fluke yesterday when this was happening. Or is there a setting I need to change?? Thanks for any help :)

If that happened in Standard view, then I believe that was a fluke, unless you had task bar auto hide on.

The taskbar will hide when using Display or Theater View.

OK Thanks ModelMaker, It must have been a fluke then :(.  I was definitely in standard view. OH well it was fun while it lasted.

Yeah... This definitely does not happen to me (and if it did I'd yell).  If you want all applications to work like this, you can:

Uncheck the option in Control Panel --> Taskbar and Start Menu --> Keep the taskbar on top of other windows.

That option drives me bonkers, but if you like it, it is there for you.
