Title: Loading Thumbdrive

I've got a thumbdrive that has folders for different genres that I use on a different (work) machine with WMP.  Is there a way to transfer music from MC to the drive and maintain the folders?
Can WMP read MC playlists? If so, would making a nested playlist containing playlist for each genre be the answer?
