This is what i need to do. I have computer a , B, and C. If i rip a cd into computer b, i want to be able to sync it to Computer A and B. The next day, i want to rip a cd into computer A and sync that to computers b and c. Is this possible? These computers are in different houses. How would it be done?
Thanks
Philip

You can do this with our Library Sync feature, as long as all 3 libraries are the same...

Is there any set of instructions anyway to do this step by step. I setup dynip so i have static ip's on each computer in the different houses....but i am lost after that and really cant find any useful instructions.
Thanks

Here's how you can try it.
Configure and start Library Server on one PC. It's under Servers and Services in the Tree.
Try connecting to it from another PC. File/Library/Search for Library Servers.
Library Manager lets you designate a library you want to connect to. Examples are there.

i see all that...but once i get the static ip in each location....am i suppose to do port forwarding or something like that?

That depends on your network setup. We need more details to answer.

house a has two computers that both have media center. I setup dynip to get a static ip. House 2 also has two computers that both have media center. I setup dynip here also.
Both houses have linksys wrt54g routers. Let me know what other info you need.
Thanks

Cable? DSL? Is the Linksys doing Network Address Translation?
If your local IP address is 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x, you are behind a NAT, and will have to configure port forwarding.
If you are running a firewall, you'll have to enable a hole for that.

Check the Linksys site for how-to information on the networking side.
