Hi there,
I tried switching the upper part of the playing now screen from the usual 'cover art' setting (right-click »» set display) to 'trackinfo' but it will just show me a white screen :s
Visualization and 3D Visualization all work great. I tried installing some plugins for the trackinfo screen but it's the same thing. Am I doing anything wrong?
Tried searching the boards but found nothing on this. I'm using rel. 401.
Thanks in advance for your help.

We haven't heard this before. You might try build 403 from the top of this board.

Just tried it and nothing changed.
Also, I noticed that in theater view the same thing happens, so when I it's in fullscreen mode I get a totally white screen. If I double click the trackinfo area (which is blank) I get a full white screen. Everything else keeps working normally (doesn't hang-up or anything).
Let me know if you need any further information.
Again, thanks for your help.

Have you tried a few different Track Info templates?
Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks.

Trackinfo works fine for me.
Do you know how to install the skins? I manually copy the downloaded Track Info skin folder into the proper folder. On my PC it is:
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 12\Visualizations\Track Info

Please apologyze if this is too obvious, neovibe, but I need to ask. Are you sure that something is actually "playing"? If nothing is playing, TrackInfo shows a black display (this is the correct behaviour).

neovibe,
Assuming you are playing the tracks, what is the audio file format?
The Track Info templates don't currently work with cue tracks (they worked in MC11.1). The database doesn't send any track specific info when the track happens be a cue track. I don't know if this can happen with some other formats too. (I have reported about the problem a couple of times.)

Bingo!
It works with flac and ape files played *directly*, but when played through cue files it goes blank (not black).
I couldn't figure that out because all of my collection is ape/flac+cue and I set up MC12 so that it import's cue files into the database and no other sort of file (my collection has no audio files actually).
Are cue's going to be supported by this feature in a future release?
Thanks for your prompt support.
And Happy New Year!!
(not there yet where I live)
