I just got an iPod classic 80GB. 1st tried iTunes then JRiver. I must say it's a a lot better than iTunes, much more intuitive/logical to me.
However, I have a problem with putting foto's on it. When I put foto's on it with iTunes then show fine on the Classic. When I put them on there with JRiver I can see the thumbnails but when I click/enter then the screen won't show them.
Is this a known problem?

Edit: I'd like to add that I do have the latest mc12 version(12.0.403), I saw the same problem mentioned for the iPod Nano 3G, however there it seems to be fixed. ?

We're looking into it...

Please upgrade to 12.0.404 - there were iPod artwork / photo fixes made in that release.
Try removing your photos, compacting your iPod (right-click on the iPod in the tree) and re-syncing the photos.

Ok, thanks. I'll try that when/if my daughter comes back with my iPod. ;D
I'll let you know how it works out.

I followed the instructions but the pictures won't show full screen on the Classic. The thumbnails show up fine but when i click on one I just get a black screen.

One more question: Where are the photo's supposed to show up when they are on the player. Now they show up at the bottom of the library list of the player, under the mp3's.

Can you send me (rick at jriver dot com) a photo that doesn't work?
And yes, the photos should be grouped at the bottom of the file listing.
