Title: first time burn error

start to burn the following result error#1002error data is key:2asc:4asq8 please help me

you may need to provide more info

go to help in MJ and  there you can have your system info put in the clibboard and then from there you can paste it into the message\forum.

it is hard to knwo about your MJ version, ASPI Layer, And OS if you do not do this.

how do i post to clipboard. went to mj help. I have limited pc knowledge, someone will have to walk me through even the simplest tasks.

I have a sony pentium 4 pc with windows xp as the os. The burner is in f drive and is a pioneer dvd-rw model dvr-103. The burner works through the windows media player. I just purchased the mj8 on Sat am. Everything seemed to be working as well as the nero and sony jukebox I have used on this computer. The first time I went to test burn a cd it loaded then the error #1002error data is key:2asc:4asq8 box appeared. I tried again lowering the burn speed fr 8  to 4 with the same result. please help
