Title: Auto eject of Ipod
Post by: ojam on January 03, 2008, 01:28:32 pm
I am running Mediacenter 12.0.43 on a PC without keyboard and mouse (but with a touchscreen). I mainly use theater mode and switch to the regular mode only when changing the configuration (via a remote connection from another pc).

I use an Ipod nano with this pc to automatically update a collection of podcasts (with the "Auto sync on connect" option), which works fine. But i have not been able to set the option to disconnect the Ipod automatically, so the "Do not disconnect" message of the Ipod is still blinking after the sync.

This is the problem:
In "Options" / "Handheld" i have set "Auto-eject" to "After sync". This works for the first sync. But when i eject the Ipod from the docking station it's set to "None" after i connect the Ipod again.

Is this a bug or do i do anything wrong?

They changed how ejecting was handled a short while ago.  It now ejects less forcefully so your iPod can stay charging while connected.

That's a bug, we'll look into it.

This will be fixed in build 12.0.405.
