i have it at the top of this thread. http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=44410.0
only with ie not with firefox. when i hit back it shows the dig it thing. again back brings me one page back. scary, wonder if there is some nasty stuff on my comp.
-
Same here! Only for this topic. In Opera & Firefox still the dig it box appears correctly... Curious...

gappie,
What is your forum theme?
(Profile > Modify Profile > Look and layout preferences > Current Theme, click the "(change)" link for options)
Darichman just changed the big screenshot in the first post to a smaller one (I adviced him). Did that change anything?
-
Woops.
I think I broke the internet again :)

i just use the 'forum and board default' as theme.
changing the pic did not change anything. just had it in an other thread also. strange. :)
not being the only one makes me less worried though.

I use "Converted Theme from YaBB SE". I have tried the new default a few times, but for some reason I prefer the old style. Maybe I am just used to it.
However, it appears that the admins would need to replicate the lay out changes separately in all forum themes. For example, the "Converted Theme from YaBB SE" doesn't show the "dig it" box at all and it displays outdated ad banners.

Happy to see that I was able to ease you a bit ;)

My guess is that it's a CSS bug that's only affecting IE. Probably IE's probably confused about how big the digg image really is and so it's showing it with scroll bars.
-
That is where the Digg stuff gets pulled in. Maybe you have Digg blocked or something? I see a link Digg and Digg that page.
Addition: ha: leave it to IE which insists on putting a scroll bar in. So the scroll bar is probably covering it up because it's very small (in height).
overflow:hidden;
would probably fix it.
It works on my IE.
Try adding above in the style tag.
<div><div style="float:right"><script type="text/javascript">

gappie, I noticed that your 'Search' button looked different than mine.
Here's my button in Firefox:

Maybe Windows?.
(I use XP)

It's a bit of a hassle keeping all of the themes up to date with the "accessories". Many of them really only apply to the default theme. Sorry about the confusion. The digg thing is responsible for the scroll bar. It's image was too large to fit in that space at one time..
