Title: forced to update files are missing!!!

I installed the latest version, and all of my songs are missing. I rebuilt my library, 17,091 songs, but they don't show up anywhere in the list views.

Any idea what may have happened?

A bit more info:

My playlists are still intact, but when clicking on a file to play a song I get an error that says, "The media types of the slected files are not supported for playback. (<none>)"

The two file types I have are mp3 and ape
