Title: pc crashes when running in theater view

Hi can any one help??? When i switch to theater view the display locks up and the pc crashes. I running on a 18 month Hush PC P4 with a ATI 8800 video card, all the drivers are the latset

Theater View uses 3D drawing.  If it crashes, it probably means that the video card driver has a problem.  You could try updating the driver.  If you haven't done it already, try updating Windows, too.

Also maybe worth reinstalling DirectX 9, as I believe that's how Theater View is rendered? (Or was that my imagination?)

If I could render Theater View with my imagination, it'd have hot chicks and laser-beam wielding sharks showing me my movies one by one. So I guess it's probably DirectX 9.

I'm running direct X 10 and all the latest drivers and the windows updates are current. Any other ideas???

If the PC really crashes (not just MC), it is a hardware problem.  The latest driver may not be the best.  If switching drivers doesn't fix it, your only option is to try another video card.

DirectX isn't the issue.
