Hello! I'm a user of the older versions of Media Jukebox....long ago :D I think I had a free version of it then, before it went paid.
I tried to play a flash video in the new free version I downloaded and it worked. But after that it wouldn't (unsupported file type error). I figured something was blocking and I downloaded Media Center. It's playing my flash videos fine.
So here are my questions and why I'm looking at MC as a solution:
1. I want to convert my flv to wmv so I can play on my MP3 player. Is there a utility to do this? When I try to convert it says flv is an unsupported format.
2. I want to convert flac to mp3. Can I do this?
I'm sure I'll have some other questions but these are my solutions that I'm looking for now. Thank you!

1. I have not tried this. MC has a video converter for portable players, but I don't now what source formats it supports. This may also be depended on what file formats are listed as supported in the Handheld options. Maybe someone from JRiver can answer this question.
2. Yes

I've been playing with this some more and haven't had success in finding out if I can convert a flv to a wmv. I was able to associate flvs with MC12 but still can't seem to find how to convert these files to wmv through the program. I set the Options/Handheld/Conversion and checked wmv. However, when I go back to Convert Format, my flash video is in the list but still says "unsupported format"
The help files, which are really good by the way, says this "NOTE: You can convert any file for which you have an input plug-in installed." So. Where can I find an input plug-in for flv files? I looked on the downloads page but there's really not a whole lot out there.
EDIT: I also looked at an swf file and tried to convert that and got the same issue. The help has stated that swf is supported; alas not flv which is probably why I'm having the issue (above) but I should be able to convert swf. I'm confused as to why I cannot.
Video Supported File Types

Windows Media Video (wmv, wvx)
