Title: Startup as last closed? super-tagging?

Firstly, a big thanks for this free jukebox. I've recently ditched Musicmatch, which I've had since v3 right up to v10 and then Yahoo stepped in and ruined it (IMO) now I have the free v12 MJ and love it but I'm still on a learning curve so hoping for some help here.

question 1.  when I used to close down Musicmatch, it would always start in the same place - with the album or playlist tracks ready to continue where you left off.  I cant seem to get MJ to do this as it always starts up in the Amazon shop (this is a pain as it's not open to UK users yet) ....any ideas?

question 2. How do I lookup tag info for a single track already in my library?  I did the rip cd bit and got all tags fine, but some of you may know of super-tagging lookup in Musicmatch - Does MJ do this?

Re 2: Try selecting a track, and pressing tag from the action window (Alternatively pressing Alt and Enter)

If need be press the tools button in the top left of the action window and select "Show All Tags"

This option is only available in Media Center.  You might give it a try.

Then why is their a setting in options for Startup>Mode:Last Exit View ?

The startup view mode options are: Standard View, Mini View, Display View and Last Exit View. The Last Exit View option uses the view mode you had active when you closed MJ. It is not related to the last browsing location in MJ's Standard View.
