The latest release of MC is top rated at download.com today.

This is exactly where we want to be, and we have achieved it with the help of users like you who have continued to support our efforts to create the best media software ever. Thanks a million! We won't stand in your way if you feel the urge to post a decent user review :D

Congratulations.

It's normal that it's top rated because this is the best Media organizer in the world !!

It's nice to see MC get some much deserved recognition. Congratulations J River!
I tried to add a positive user review but their site seemed down at that time this morning when I tried it.

I just tried to enter a review also, but the site tells me there is a problem and to try again later.... :'(

The Server Is Shocked The Reviewer Gave It Such A High Rating Because it Is Normal For Them To Say Something Negative Or Only Give It 3 Or 4 Stars.

Funny, I used to use download.com for everything. I would discover software through its ratings. Now, however, I rarely use it. I usually do a wikipedia search whenever I hear about an interesting service or piece of software.
Either way, MC certainly deserve to be up there on the very top! Congratulation!

Congratulations on the 5 star review.
One question -- the site says it's version "12.0.404." Is the actual download a newer version, or does the number that cnet shows always correctly reflect the version that's downloaded? I know that there have been some fixes since 404, and that the newest "public" release is 421. I'd hate to see the cnet user reviews ding MC for issues that have already been solved.

Submitting a review still fails (and I'm getting sick of retyping why MC12 is so good!)

404 is the build we gave them. They distribute it until we change it again. Should happen in the not distant future.
