Title: MKV subtitle issue

     I have an MKV file that has subtitles included as a separate stream. MPC and windows media player play the file and display the subtitles fine. Media center plays the file fine and recognizes that there is a subtitle stream, but dosent diplay the subtitles. I right click on the diplay and can see that the subtitle stream is selected , but nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions are appriciated.

This is an issue I've seen before. You have to deselct and reselect subtitles, and then it should work.

?I mean that's a workaround that does the trick for me.

is it one mkv file only. or more mkvs. is the subtitle file inside the mkv or external? wich codecs are you using. you could play the movie and right click on it, go to directshow filters and choose 'copy graph info to clipboard' and then past the info here.

I only have 1 file with Subs in the file, the subs are internal.

DirectVobSub filter was not loaded into the graph.

Make sure DirectVobSub is installed/registered.
