Title: Why golf isn't big in Minnesota in January

Tonight will be very cold (http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Wayzata&state=MN&site=MPX&textField1=44.9703&textField2=-93.5138) here.  And windy.  22 gusting to 30MPH.

But in February, they do play a few holes (http://www.wayzatachamber.com/Chillyopen.htm) on Lake Minnetonka.  They bore holes in the ice.  They may also drink a little.

I don't like sports all that much but, I did watch a Bit Of Of the torment this past weekend and watched some amazing shots by tiger woods. One Putt almost did a 180 turn 3 feet from the cup and turned like a magnet was pulling it into the cup.
