Title: Filling a thumb drive

When I send a playlist to an external device like a thumb drive is there a way to dump all of the songs in the root folder instead of it building folders for Artist/Album?

You should be able to do that in the options.  Open Handhelds in the Action Window, select your device, then select the options.
