Foobar has this great plugin called "live show tagger". If you download live shows from various sources you've seen the .txt files that come with the (generally) untagged files. This .txt file has artist, venue, date, and song titles in it. The foobar plugin looks at these files and attempts to tag the flac files with the information.
It works pretty well. When it doesn't work - editing the .txt file still takes far less time than entering all the tags individually.
I'm curious if anyone has seen something similar for MC12

Is there a spec somewhere for these text files?

possibly, but i haven't found it. however i tried the plugin with a couple of live show downloads and it worked 'out of the box'.
