I read somewhere that Microsoft was going to make a bid for the RIAA. Anyone heard details on this? Apparently Ballmer felt the two had "highly compatible business models", and wanted to leverage the RIAA's "highly recognizable brand name and consumer awareness" into MSFT's own well-established tradition of consumer trust.
I wish I could find that link where I first read it.

Yahoo? Oh, I suppose that will be less dilutive to earnings than the RIAA. Still, MSFT and the RIAA seemed like a good fit culturally.

Speaking of my glasses, I left several around here that were half full.
