Title: 12.0.404 - lost 5.1

I was rolling along with 5.1 dobly.  Then upgraded and I seem to have lost 5.1.  It was there prior to the upgrade.  I am using a creative soundbalster external and ffdshow.  All the setting have remained the same the only difference is the upgrade in hardware.  I can't play it with either video (mkv) or dvd playblack.

Any ideas?

Settings recently switched to zone-specific, so it's possible you need to reselect the decoder or sound-card line in MC playback options. (Direct Show or DVD)
