Title: CD Submission Failed...
Post by: Higginz on February 09, 2008, 12:52:22 am
I get this notification (see below) after finishing copying a CD into the MC library (mp3's). What is it?.
It has appeared after my latest 5 CD rips.

In 'Advanced CD Ripping settings' there's these options:

It might have something to do with the information pop-up I get?.

However all CD's have gotten the CD artist-album-track information perfectly from the Internet database.
So I don't see why MC would report back that it all failed?.

Does it occur exactly at the end of the rip? Or are you doing anything first (like changing the data)?

I often edit some database information that are either incorrect, or just estetic things like changing some upper case letters to lower ones etc.
Then I rip the CD.
And then when the rip is finished, I get this pop-up.

But the thing is, I've always done this.
It's begun when updating to the latest MC version (.428)

That makes more sense to me. Is your internet connection up? Next time it happens, open a browser and connect to www.yadb.com, and also right click on the CD, choose "submit to database". Let me know what happens.

Ok I'll let you know.
btw, I just ripped a CD with some minor adjustments in the song titles only, and no info pop-up appeared.
