Title: Cowon D2 Crashes Media Jukebox 12 in MTP mode

Subject says it all. Downloaded and installed Media Jukebox. After i connect
my Cowon D2 in MPT mode Media Jukebox crashes. Vista recognizes the device just fine
and other programs like another program don't seem to have a problem with it.

Connecting in MSC mode works fine.

Did you try updating MJ to the latest at the top of this board?

Turns out i am running 12.0.0.25. I will download and upgrade media Jukebox to 12.0.0.26
and let you know what the results are this evening (CET evening). Thank you for your

Upgrading to the latest version (12.0.26) did not solve the problem. Media Jukebox still
crashes shortly after i connect the Cowon D2 in MPT mode.

Additonal testing showed that Windows Media Player and yahoo! Music Jukebox don't suffer
from this problem.

Can you send a log file?

Where can i send it too? Tried posting but the logfile exceeds 12000 chars.

If this is after a crash make sure that it is the previous log file that you are sending.

Do you have two devices connected?
Anything in the D2's expansion slot?
Anything odd about your setup?
Running the Cowon software?

I am not running any Cowon software. There's only one Cowon device connected to the system and it has an 4GB SD card as well. My system also has an 1GB USB memory stick connected configured for ReadyBoost.

There's nothing unusual to this system, MSI Platinum P965 Mobo  with a Dual-Core 6600 intel cpu, 4 Gb Ram and one Nvidia 7900 gs videocard. Running Vista Enterprise 32-Bit.

Try removing the memory stick to see if it makes a difference.  Then try removing the SD card.

Removing the memory stick did not stop it from crashing, reconnected without
the 4 Gb SD-card and that did not stop it from crashing either.

No effect.

Latest version sent to me by Tom stopped crashing :-) /Cheers!
