Title: can MC keep playback stats for a "dual" library?

If one was to have two libraries (or perhaps better stated as two copies of the same library), one lossless and the second lossy, can MC somehow transfer/update/maintain "Last Played" and "Number of Plays" stats from one to the other?
These fields are not stored in the file's tags, but only stored in the libarary database.
