I'm not requesting syncing etc between MC and the Ipod on-the-Go or New Playlists created on the fly.
But would like to be able to do the following on the preview panel of the Ipod that shows up in MC.
1. Be able to re-name the On-The-Go, or New PLaylists 1 created on the ipod.
2. Be able to delete particular tunes from these playlists on the ipod, Not the actual tunes but the entries from the playlists.
3. Be able to delete the playlists without removing the tunes from the Ipod itself.
These all involve manipulating the lists on the ipod, not necessarily syncing up with the PC's library.
please consider this, as there is no other way at the moment to manage these playlists other than through Itunes. and having lists called On-The-Go 1, 2, 3 is simply meaningless.
Thanks in advance.

Can anybody from JRiver comment on this? Please?

We've added it to the suggestions list.

Thanks Swellguy, it's really the only reason why I have to dust off Itunes once in a while and would rather stay with MC 100%
So I'll keep my fingers crossed. :)

Any updates on possibly supporting the On-The-Go and new Playlists from the Ipod?
That's the last remaining "hook" into Itunes that I need to remove to be 100% on MC.
Thanks in advance

BUMP!
Any chance this can move up in the features list request???
On-the Go playlists are handy but I have no way to manage them (rename, edit, keep) other than firing up Itunes which I'd rather not do...
I would be happy to test as needed :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, any chance this can be worked on, and pushed up on the request list?
My wife and I are in a real need to be able to manage the on the fly playlists created on the Ipod, and unfortunately the only way to do this is to fireup Itunes... Yuck!.
