Title: Programming Remote - Sony RM-VL900

Hello all.  I've been struggling with this problem for a bit.  I am running MC 12.0.441 with a USB UIRT and a Sony RM-VL900.  Does anyone have any experience with this combination?  I can't seem to get it to work consistently and predictably and I'd appreciate any advice in setting it up.  I've gone through the "learning" process several times.  It seems to take initially but the command buttons don't always perform the programmed function.  After a while, it stops working at all; like now.  I must be missing something basic. 

Any help would be appreciated.  ?

Maybe you're losing the settings when you reinstall?

If so, don't uninstall or remove the registry settings, when you install.

I have installed a couple of upgrades since I first tried it but they were not "clean" installs.  That is, I didn't uninstall but just installed the updates over the existing software.  That shouldn't upset any settings.  :-\
