Title: IPod recognized as HDD not as IPod

Since updating MC my IPod 3.gen is not recognized as an IPOD but as a HDD. I can transfer files to it, i can see them with MC and the Explorer, but i can't see them on the IPod. Redetection - no success. I haven't installed ITunes, and i don't like to install it. Is it possible to re-initializise the IPod from MC or another small tool?

Unfortunately, you're going to have to restore your iPod with iTunes on a PC or at an Apple retailer.
