I have wrote about this question earlier, but without further answer.
Many of the artists in a large MP3 librarty has their biography in "All Music"
operated with "Artist Info".
But a lot of artists, "local heroes", will not be found in that base.
I want a funktion in MC for reading a displaying an textfile in the artists
library map.
This woult be a prima funktion, The data would be intact, eaven after a reinstallation of the system disc.
I think: Click on a funktion button: "Local artist info", and MC would go to the artistmap named as the played artist, and read a textfile in that map, including this artists biography.
Could it be possibly to add this function in MC12?
May bee my use is a little speciell, but I really need and want a function like this.

You're right, that function is not currently in MC. But you don't want to just insert your text into the tags? Many tags are recognized by MC "out of the box".

Oh yes, if it's possibly? but how can I save a large text in the tag?
I have been reading the"help" - manual, but I don't really understand how.
It would be the best of all to save it in the tag.

The Notes and Lyrics fields can store multi-line text blocks. Check how these fields work in Action Window > Tag.
If you need more that kind of fields you can create similar user fields. Set the data type to "String" and edit type to "Large Value" in the field options.
If you want to save the field contents in the file tags you need to enable the "Store in file tags (when possible)" option.
EDIT
Possibly the Notes and Lyrics fields are not to set to store in file tags by default. You check that in Tools > Options > Library & Folders > Standard Library Fields ...
Personally I avoid storing very long text strings in file tags. I prefer to keep them simple. I store separate text, pdf, html etc documents in the album folders and import them to the library. I have explained my system in detail in this post:
