Title: How to get statistics by genre
Post by: Scronch on August 04, 2002, 10:28:57 pm
I know this has been discussed here before, but I can't figure it out right now.  In MJ7.2, I could easily list genres on the statistics page and then sort by number of songs, or total time, to see, for example, how much classical music I had versus how much hard rock versus how much country bumpkin versus how much booty bass .  I can't seem to get MJ8.0.336 to show me that kind of display.  Is it possible?  Thanks.

Hmmm, there's something wrong with my browser.  I can't read all the replies to this post.

Is there really no way to do this?  I thought I was just missing it.

I can't seem to find it either.

Could use the view scheme: Genre/Album | Search Criteria-> -Genre="" tracknumber==1

This works for full albums with the tracks # entered in. When you click on Genre/Album, it will show the number of albums in that genre.
