Title: v.450 detach display bug
Post by: kevind on March 19, 2008, 03:23:01 pm
Greetings

I spent hours pulling my hair out on this one to come to a conculsion a bug is in the detach display on v450
If you double clock the visuals to detach the display it goes to the correct monitor

If you right click or run command line it does NOT go to the correct monitor but instead stays on the primary only. No amount of playing with display settings appears to correct this issue

please check this out

Did you check the latest build?  459 is at the top of this board.

negative, as it is beta I did not want to take a chance of any weird and wonderful bug that may have appeared as these are at client homes and it has to work 100%.

On the other hand...does 459 address this issue?

We don't move a build to the MC12 board until we believe it's good.  We're usually right, not always.

I can't reproduce this.

Remember that setting a monitor to show on is zone-specific.  Are you playing images while playing audio, or doing something else that might use zones?

might not be a bug. double click gives you display view (ctrl 3) with the play buttons etc. detach display (ctrl 5) is an other story. to get that to an other monitor, double click in it when it is fullscreen, and drag it to the other monitor, double click in it again to maximize. it should open in that monitor from now on.
what command line do you use?

Here's the command line from the bat file

cd c:\program files\j river\media center 12\
mc12.exe /mcc 10037, 1

Strange...I don't recall having to drag the detatched display to the other monitor to make it work properly....could be wrong though.
