Title: MC12 as portable installation?

I am not sure, but I think it was reported on this forum that J River is trying to make MC12 100% portable, even if installed on a main computer. Is this already the case or is the portable installation still restricted to external devices?

Could I make a portable installation on a notebook?

Probably.  It would have to appear as a drive on the PC where MC is licensed.  Not everything will work.   Some encoder plug-ins and other types of plug-ins and visualizations.
