I tried to create my first Pix01 gallery. I tried just 2 files, put in my email address and a password but it gave me an error "Failed to create gallery". I can't login with my email address and password and when I click "Forgot password" it gives me an error?

Just checked, seems to work fine. Your password error indicates that you never got as far as the file upload so the email/password never entered the database.
If you could put up a screen image with the message box that would be helpful. Also, what type of files were you trying to create a gallery from and what's your MC version?
Note that the upload uses ftp so your firewall or proxy server needs to allow outbound ftp.

It is just a generic Information box that says "Unable to Create Gallery" (the title is "Information" with the "i" icon on the left). I am just trying standard JPG files from a digital camera. I turned off the Vista firewall and still get the error. Are there any limits on the email address or password that perhaps I'm not meeting?

I am using v 12.0.451.

Anything of interest in the action window when it is creating the gallery?
Also, make sure you have one of the Slideshow Templates selected under options. There was a version a while back that would default to an unsupported template.

This seems to have been the problem. When I looked at the Options, it was set to "Slideshow Black". I changed it to "Slideshow Blue" and it worked. I then changed it back to "Slideshow Black" and it now works. Maybe there was no initial selection even though it looked like it? Thanks.

By the way, just wanted to let you know that Opera gives a warning about your "Certifcate chain being incomplete" when logging in to the Pix01 site.

Two different objects kept a default. I updated one but didn't realize that the other had one. Joy.
Should work better with later builds. But 451 was just old enough.
