Title: Problem with transferring many albums
Post by: gummbah on March 28, 2008, 04:01:54 am
I have seen this problem from the beginning I started using MC, but never reported it.
When transferring a large number of albums to my Ipod (e.g. when it's completely empty), I experience a problem with various artist albums. They do not show up under compilations, but under artists.

The only way to fix this is to manually remove them, and re-sync the Ipod. Now that there are a limited number of albums to sync, there doesn't seem to be a problem.

Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Cheers

Just to confirm, I've had the same problem and solution. I've recently got a new ipod classic, to replace my old one. I synced 75gb, but none of the compilations showed as compilations on the Ipod. Having read this post I removed the compilations from my ipod playlist, synced. Added them back and synced. Now they show as compilations as they should.

Thanks, good to see that it's not just a problem on my side.
Hope they will fix it soon.
