Title: Update Tags When File Info Changes / Over-ride?
Post by: AoXoMoXoA on April 01, 2008, 07:26:38 am
Could this be made so that when it is left unchecked (file info is not changed), should you attempt to update tags, when the Info window pops up to state that Tag Updates have been disabled that it offers an Optional: "Override setting: Allow this tag change"?

This would be very useful.

Maybe if AoXoMoXoA means only the "Update Tags (from library)" tool.

It would be irritating if it would show up on each tag change even though the user wants to change only the database.

That is true.  "Update Tags ..." is more than sufficient for me.

Yeah, or eventuelly make it fast to turn on or off tagging, its a bit of work now. (and maybe even more useful, throw in an optional "make file writable, and set back to write protected after tag-change" but the last one can be risky i guess.
