Title: DVD subtitles and aspect ratio

Hi,
When changing the aspect ratio during DVD playback, often the picture get adjusted and looks good, but the subtitles stay in the black widescreen bar and then get cut off. Has anybody else experienced this? Are there any settings anywhere that I can change?
