Title: Panes via drop down menus, is this possiable?

I am really loving MC12 so far, syncs everything to my ipod and i think it even sounds better than MC11.
 
Here is my question, is it possible to have panes via drop down menus, i think that would be really cool, one could have the functions of panes yet still have most of the screen for displaying album thumbnails.

Any help on this question/suggestion would be appreciated.

I drag the horizontal splitter up and down to vary the space dedicated to panes versus file list.

I also drag the vertical splitter left to maximize the pane and file list area at the expense of the tree at the left side of the screen.

Drop down menus would be very useful on small screens.

I'm sure it's possible, its all just bits, and look at the sorting options, that is a list box in a menu...
