Title: custom view in "theatre view"
Post by: fo_ka on April 11, 2008, 07:14:26 am
Is it possible to create a custom view in “theatre view”??

For example:
Alphabet/ Album Artist/ (year) album

I mean something like A, B, C, D, etc, then entering for example C letter -> show “album artists” starting with C and then the albums of that album artist  shorted by year??

Thank you in advance

Sure is. You just need to create the view scheme first. In your standard view, right click and select "add view scheme". It'll bring up a window where you can specify all the fields you want (A,B,C,D etc) in "Create View Items". Check the Grouping option to alphabetise a field. Call the view scheme whatever you want, and make sure you select "Show in theatre view" before you save it. And you're done!

OK! It was easy, thank you…

Now the next step:
Is it possible to add shortcuts to specific views in “theatre view”?
For example suppose I have 2 different views to find my music. I want to find an easy way to toggle between the two views…

Thank you all again...  :)
