Hi,
With both 470 and 473, all wavpack files (.wv) used with cue files only allow you to listen to the first track.
Pressing 'next' or double clicking any track on the generated playlist makes it go back to the beginning of the first track.
happened with all wv+cue albums I tried, didn't with any other sort.
thanks in advance ;)

Probably you have DirectShow playback enabled for the vw file type. There is no mechanism for submitting cue playback ranges to a DS decoder.
Install Scthom's Wavpack decoder plug-in (http://mcplugins.sourceforge.net/in_wavpack.html) if you have not already done it and disable the vw file type in the DirectShow playback options. (Tools > Options > Playback > Video > DirectShow Playback Options > DirecShow Filters > File Types > vw)
Possibly DirectShow routing didn't work properly with audio files until it was fixed a few builds ago and MC used the internal decoder despite the selected DS option.

still didn't have time to try that (but I will) ... but I was using ASIO through an m-audio audiophile usb soundcard ... that shouldn't be afected by directshow... should it?
thanks again.

DirectShow decoding is not related to the DS/Wave Out/ASIO output mode selection. The DirectShow decoding system is used instead of MC's internal decoder. The decoded PCM signal is routed back to MC so that MC's DSP and output options can be used.
