Title: Video starting off from previous position
Post by: 0239666 on April 17, 2008, 09:31:52 pm
How do you turn off the option where the video plays from where it left off. I have found this setting before but I cant find it at all anymore. Thanks

I think it can't be done globally, but on a per file basis. There is a field called "Use bookmarking", set that to no.
I think there should be some options here though. Bookmark only the latest movie, or remember bookmark for a week or so.
I'd love to have the option to choose when selecting a movie. Play from beginning or from lsat position.

I agree. Sometimes I like to put all my videos on random and watch them. But some videos play from halfway through or the last few seconds. These videos are short so there is no need for the bookmarking. But I find it handy for films or tv series.

llafriel is right, set the 'Use Bookmarking' tag to 'No'.

You also need to erase the value in the 'Bookmark' tag if you want the file to start at the beginning.
