Just a shy question:
I get regular crashes with MC12 with module "hh_portable.dll" although I don't use any portable. I just import new music into the library and I'm now at 120'000 songs. Have to mention that I use the library server to serve music to other connected computers. Everthing else is pretty much straight-forward, nothing special, just music library...
The data reported reads:
ModVer 12.0.1.0
Offset 0002b5aa
Exception Info is code: 0xc0000005
Thanks for a hint

well, I installed version 12.0.476 over the last version I had installed and now the program crashes instantaneously at every start with
AppVer: 12.0.476.0
ModName: jrtools.dll
ModVer: 12.0.283.0
Offset: 0007abea
now I'm totally stuck
Help?

Any third party software running that accesses MC?
Reboot and reinstall?
Try restoring your license.

ok, I rolled back to version 451 and it works as before (with the common crashes)... I rebooted too
I asked some time ago if the new version can be installed OVER the running version and it was told that this shouldn't be any problem, so I did no uninstall and new install... I try that next
I'll also reinstall the license as you mentioned
Probably it would also be a good idea to re-build the library (although I hesitate to do that, because it runs something like a day for my actual 120'000 songs library... I never looked at my watch though :)) - or wouldn't you recommend that?
thanks

I do that all the time. There is no need to uninstall.

It shouldn't take that long to import. Is a virus checker checking every file?

I have NOD32 installed, maybe it checks all files, but I'm not sure - I'll check on that too and I do a re-build and I'll report the time it needs for the re-build
thanks
