I've converted my library of wma lossless files to mp3 and stacked these with the wma files set as stack top. I then have MC collapse all stacks so that only wma files are visible in my library. But with this scenario the Smarlist which I use to sync to my iPod is unable to pick up the mp3 files. Would it be possible to either collapse and expand stacks in a playlist/smartlist view or have a Smarlist modifier to expand collapsed stacks?

Is your smartlist searching in all databases? Normally they just search main but the hidden stack files are in the stack db.

:-\ Erm not sure, I can't see any place to specify which database to search.

In the smartlist thingy there is a place to modify the results. Select "limit database to" and check "All."

Ok found it. I added the the Modifier Limit Database to 'All' (no stacks database listed) and this has solved the problem.
Thanks.

On a related note. I have the Smartlist set to select mp3s only ([File Type]=[mp3]) which works fine. But if I add the 'expand to full albums' modifier (~a), both mp3 and stacked wma files are selected.
