Title: FEATURE REQUEST: Send To External Command in Theater View
Post by: datdude on April 19, 2008, 08:42:44 pm
I can't play my ripped blu-ray discs in MC but would like to still use Theater View to browse my DVD library and then launch the external program that can play them (DVDPlay).

thx

Thanks Ralf - FYI just updated the thread with a link on also managing ISO's in MC12 so now you can also take your Blu-ray / HD-DVD ISO's, import them into MC12 & assign coverart (cust like DVD ISO's) then use the script to fire up PowerDVD for their playback.

I guess it could, but I don't have powerdvd, and MC has problems with playing my regular dvds, so I would still love to see this feature request.

At present MC does not play Bu-ray disks or ISO's --- see http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=46038.0 if you'd like to register your thoughts.  In the interim you will need either PowerDVD Ultra, Nero + HD Pack, Arcsoft Total Media Theater etc to play these OR you will need to extract the M2TS containers which MC12 can play with Direct Show filters (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=43885.0)
